Being a cad artist is an important job within the fashion industry that requires the creation of garment sketches for presentation and technical purposes. Skills required for this job are various computer programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Being a technical designer requires having an education in garment construction, draping and pattern making as well as computer skills to translate this garment knowledge into instructions for the factory also know as a techpack.
